Contact Our Team
How do you guarantee the Alignment (Coaxiality) of the arm end connectors?
If the connector holes aren't perfectly centered, the drone arm will be crooked. This creates "thrust vectoring" issues where the drone drifts to one side. We use one-hit machining (drilling both ends in one setup) to ensure the arm and the motor mount are perfectly aligned on the same axis.
Can you maintain the tolerances needed for "Press-Fit" assembly?
Engineers need the arm to slide into the connector with zero "slop" or wiggle. A gap of even 0.05mm can cause vibrations that destroy flight controllers. We use precision boring to ensure your carbon fiber tubes fit snugly every time without needing excessive glue or force.
How do you prevent "Stress Cracks" at the folding pivot point?
The "Arm End Connector" is often the folding joint, which takes the most impact during landings. We use stress-relief radiusing (rounding out the internal corners) rather than sharp 90-degree cuts. This prevents the metal from snapping under the high leverage of a long drone arm.
What is your process for "IP Protection" on custom folding locks?
The locking mechanism is usually a company's "secret sauce." We provide Project-Specific NDAs. We also offer "blind manufacturing" where different components of a complex folding joint are machined by different teams, so no single person sees the entire assembly design.
Does the Surface Treatment (Anodizing) affect the inner diameter?
Anodizing adds a layer of material that can make the connector hole too small for the arm to fit. We mask the internal diameters during the chemical process or "over-machine" the hole by a few microns to account for the coating thickness, ensuring a perfect fit post-finish.
Can you provide "Material Traceability" for structural safety?
If an arm end connector snaps in mid-air, the drone falls. We provide Material Mill Certificates to prove we are using genuine 6061-T6 or 7075 aluminum, not cheaper, porous recycled alloys. This ensures the connector can handle the "G-forces" during high-speed turns.
