Who We Are

DroneCNCParts is a division of DEK, created to serve the UAV industry with dedicated precision machining and prototyping capabilities, focus exclusively on UAV structural requirements, materials, and performance-driven part development.

We provide 5-axis CNC machining, precision milling, turning, and rapid prototyping. Typical parts include motor mounts, gimbal housings, brackets, transmission plates, sensor covers, cooling plates, and other lightweight structural components.

Our work is supported by an experienced engineering team, stable machining processes, and complete inspection. This allows us to maintain tight tolerances, consistent materials, and repeatable quality for UAV projects. We aim to be a practical machining partner for ongoing drone development.

Frequently Asked Questions

Expert technical support for your UAV projects. We bridge the gap between complex aerospace designs and precision manufacturing.

Need a technical consultation?

Our engineers provide DFM feedback within 12 hours to optimize your drone parts for weight, strength, and cost-efficiency.

Contact Our Team
What is your standard tolerance for high-precision UAV components?
We typically maintain ±0.005mm for critical drone interfaces like motor seats and gimbal mounts. For standard structural airframes, we hold ±0.02mm to ensure perfect fitment while balancing manufacturing costs.
Can you provide 0.5mm thin-wall machining without warping?
Yes. We specialize in thin-wall 7075 aluminum and carbon fiber machining. By using custom fixtures and specialized tool paths, we maintain structural integrity for ultra-lightweight UAV chassis components.
Which aluminum alloy is best for drone arm strength and weight?
For most professional UAVs, we recommend 7075-T6 due to its superior strength-to-weight ratio. However, 6061-T6 is a highly cost-effective alternative for internal brackets and non-stress-bearing parts.
Do you offer material certifications and QC inspection reports?
Yes. Every order includes full material Mill Certificates and a digital OQC (Outgoing Quality Control) report. We use CMM and OMM equipment to verify all critical dimensions before shipping.
How do you ensure electrical grounding for anodized drone parts?
We offer selective masking or Alodine (Chem Film) coatings. This allows you to have a protective anodized exterior while maintaining conductive contact points for EMI shielding and electrical grounding.
What is the typical lead time for custom CNC drone prototypes?
For standard UAV prototypes, we deliver within 3 to 7 business days. For low-volume production runs (50-200 pieces), lead times typically range from 10 to 15 days depending on the surface finish.
Do you support DFM feedback to reduce costs?
Yes. Our engineers review every RFQ to identify cost-saving opportunities, such as optimizing internal radii for CNC milling or suggesting material alternatives that improve flight endurance.
